Revision is a crucial element in the work of Year 11 students. It is vital that each student prepares as fully as possible both for the trial examinations in December and the final papers in the summer. Form tutors and subject teachers will give guidance on how to revise and how to set up a revision timetable. In addition there will be revision activities in lessons and in extra sessions organised at lunch-times and after school. It is important that all pupils take advantage of these sessions when they are provided. A timetable of revision activities will be provided after the Christmas holiday.

Each student should begin their revision programme now: the most effective revision is that which is built up over a lengthy period of time before the final papers.
